At Suburban Neurologists, we have been serving the neurological needs of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and surrounding communities for over 30 years. Dr. Merrell D. Reiss, this practice's founder, has had a long and distinguished medical career. In addition to his service to the general public, he also served as Captain and Aviation Medical Examiner in the U.S. Air Force between 1957 and 1959. Dr. Reiss is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of numerous professional organizations. He is also on the staffs of the Alexian Brothers Medical Center and Northwest Community Hospital. In 1990, Dr. Reiss was named Physician of the Year by the Alexian Brothers Medical Center. He is involved in advancing the field of neurology by participating in clinical trials and has served as principal and sub-investigator in studies concerning migraine Alzheimer's disease, headaches, epilepsy, strokes, and multiple sclerosis.

Suburban Neurologists, SC, specializes in serving adults with neurological conditions. (We only take patients from 18-years old and up.) We will refer patients to a neuropsychologist, or a licensed clinical social worker if needed.
